Dr. Floyd earned a doctor of clinical psychology with a focus on marginalized groups navigating acculturation.  After graduation and joining a therapy practice, her interests in people of color working in high achieving careers increased.

A common theme in session noticed was individuals expressing cultural and identity conflict from colleagues and upper management.  These conversations led to the development of a workshop structured to engage healthy discussions with identity.

Dr. Floyd has led workshops and been a panelist for private and large organizations.  She makes an effort to incorporate open dialogue, decrease tension, and identify ways for colleagues to have a cohesive environment.
